 Yes, We are all fully qualified electricians.  And our company is independently spot checked every 12 months by The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT) & Trustmark

 We don't ask for deposits so payment is due strictly upon completion. On large installations such as rewires, a staggered payment schedule will be applied and agreed prior to commencing work.

 A reduced 'day rate' may be applied to larger projects such as full rewire's or Kitchens, when it is booked to take multiple days.

Not at all. We have built a reputation on being hardworking, fair and honest. Over 90% of our work is word of mouth, that goes a really long way.

 As a rule, No. The prices are there as a 'guide' for you. We always advise that you request a no-obligation quote so the price is agreed before work commences.

  We do not 'sub out' work and will never send someone to your site who is not contracted with Hodges Electrics.

  At this point we are fully staffed. We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic new members of the team - By all means, email over a CV and cover letter. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 All accessories used will be white plastic on all of our standard quotations.


Any additional accessories such as Usb sockets, decorative accessories, downlights, Extractor fans, Coax points, Data points, CCTV, Intruder alarms, etc are not included in the standard quotes.


Any chasing or damage to walls etc. Will only be made good if agreed with the client prior to work commencing. 


The 'subsequent hours' rate relates to additional hours performed for work under a particular call out. If other work is subsequently booked which is unrelated to the original job, then the initial hour rate will again apply to that new job. 


These prices are based on engineers attending any given call-out and are charged per person, where they are both fully engaged in working towards a speedy outcome for any given installation, fault finding or repair objective. A final invoice will break down the engineers into rates based on the guide pricing.
 

Accepted payment methods,


Invoices are to be made payable within 7 days from the invoiced date, with the preferred payment method being bank transfer (BACS). Alternatively, payments can be made via cash, cheque or credit/debit card which are processed online via a Secure Check out on our invoice's. 


Rates are subject to change without notice.


Where an  Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) has carried out we will retain your copy of the report until the invoice has been paid in full.


Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) are sent out by email, if you would prefer a printed copy a charge of £5 per report will apply.


All completed work will receive a 12 month guarantee through Hodges Electrics. 


Rewires will receive a 5 Year guarantee, through National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT) once the installation has been registered with the local council.


Parts supplied by the client will not be covered under any guarantee.


Aborted Visits - An aborted visit charge will apply for last  minute or same day cancellation,

when the engineer is on the way or at the property for any reason.


All materials supplied will remain the property of Hodges Electrics until the final invoice is paid.
