Our hourly rate structure is simple and transparent:
We appreciate the transparency, and there are no additional charges for call-outs, travel, or hidden costs. Billing starts upon our team's arrival at your front door.
For example, the initial 0-60 minutes, the initial rate of £65 applies, and thereafter, time will be billed in 60-minute increments. As an example, up to 2 hours of work would be billed at £105.
Maximum Rate for full day of work (where our team is on-site the entire day), the maximum rate per electrician is £240.
In situations where the hourly rate might not be the preferred option, we offer a popular alternative known as the 'worst case scenario cost.' This approach is based on setting a maximum number of hours, and our billing is calculated based on this maximum estimate.
For instance, if we estimate 8 hours for a job but complete it in 6 hours, you will only be charged for the actual 6 hours of work. We always aim to provide estimates that err on the side of caution, ensuring that you benefit from the most cost-effective option, which is the worst case cost.
We also offer the option of providing fixed quotations for any work, providing you with confidence and clarity regarding the costs before we commence the project.
It's important to note that in this case, no discounts will be offered, as the responsibility for any potential additional costs lies with us, and we calculate our pricing accordingly to account for that risk. This approach ensures transparency and financial security for both parties.
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) is as follows:
For properties with up to 6 circuits, the EICR is charged at a fixed rate of £150.
If the property has more than 6 circuits, an additional charge of £10 per additional circuit will apply.
For example, a property with 10 circuits would cost £190
Per Item Testing Fee: £1 per item
Customers are charged £1 for each individual item that undergoes PAT testing.
A minimum charge of £65 would apply for smaller sites with less than 40 items.
Full Day Rate: £240
For customers who have a substantial number of items to be tested or require a full day of PAT testing services, there is a fixed daily rate of £240.
This pricing structure provides flexibility for both individual item testing and cost-effective options for customers with a higher volume of items to be tested.

If the property is occupied, we place an even higher emphasis on your safety and convenience. We will never leave the site without restoring power, even if it's temporarily, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure that the property remains safe for use until the rewiring work is fully completed.

If there is a need to core a hole in a brick or block wall, please be aware that the cost may be subject to an increase depending on the time it takes to drill the hole. The complexity and time required for drilling through brick or block can vary based on factors such as the thickness of the wall, the type of material, and any potential obstructions. Therefore, additional charges may apply to cover the labor and equipment costs associated with this task. The specific cost increase will depend on the circumstances and will be communicated to you accordingly during the assessment or quoting process.
